Meet Dr. Gray King
Dr. Gray King, D.M.D., is a second-generation cosmetic dentist at Nashville Aesthetic Dentistry in Brentwood, Tennessee. His approach brings together artistic attention to natural-looking smiles and care tailored to each patient’s individual features.
A lifelong connection to dentistry.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. King grew up in a family dedicated to cosmetic dentistry. That early connection to the art and science of creating smiles shaped his interest in aesthetic dentistry. Today, at Nashville Aesthetic Dentistry, he draws inspiration from Dr. Dennis Wells’s approach to beautiful, natural, conservatively enhanced smiles, combining technical skill with a compassionate, personal approach to care.
Education, teamwork, and leadership.
After graduating from Marist School in Atlanta, Dr. King attended Auburn University, where he played football, won an SEC Championship, and competed in the National Championship. He was named Scout Team Player of the Year during his redshirt freshman year and later became a starter on special teams. He graduated with a degree in Business Marketing before attending The Dental College of Georgia. At dental school, he founded and served as president of the Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry Club, bringing leading speakers and additional educational opportunities to fellow students. He received the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award.
Life beyond the practice.
Faith and sports have been important influences on Dr. King’s character and values. Away from dentistry, he enjoys time with his wife, Kimberly, their children, Henry and Eleanor, and their Labrador Retrievers, Georgia and Auburn. His interests include travel, staying active, great food, and sports.
